TRADING ROOTS AT THE VORTEX: a ground-breaking programme of monthly Friday night performances, exchanging and combining different musical traditions, featuring outstanding improvising musicians from around the world with a 5-strong Grand Union ‘house band’; and open workshops the following morning for local musicians to meet and work with them, which finish with a short performance open to the general public.
