It runs from 10am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a showcase concert on the Saturday. All participants will have the chance to work on and perform vocals, as well as learning the basics in guitar, bass, drums, electronics or keyboard. Everyone will then be allocated an instrument to focus on for the week, and form a band with other girls in the camp. The camp will also include a range of workshops on topics aimed at raising girls’ confidence and self-esteem. There are 25 places on the camp. All tutors on the camp are music industry professionals with extensive experience of working with children in diverse settings. We take safeguarding and child protection seriously and work hard to ensure that young people at our camps have a safe, supportive and fun week For more information about the course, visit the Girls Rock London website here.
